上垣ゆうこ（うえがき優子）

1953年横浜市生まれ。関西大学社会学部マスコミュニケーション学科卒業。

関西芸術座制作部で児童劇の普及にとりくむ。

大阪市内で学童保育指導員を経て、1996年から吹田市で学童保育指導員・補助員（2023年2月まで）。千二、千一、南小の育成室で勤務。

吹田市議会議員2期（2011～2019年）。

吹田市社会体育リーダー、青山台地区体育振興協議会会員。

現在、「市民が主役の吹田をつくる会」共同代表。

Meet Yuko Uegaki, who is running for Mayor of Suita City with the goal of becoming its first female mayor! She has previously served two terms as a city councillor in Suita, and until February, she worked as a teacher in after-school care for children. She decided to run for mayor, firstly, to improve the lives of children. Yuko Uegaki wants to create a city where both families and single people can be happy and secure. She is also keen to encourage more citizens to participate in politics and she is committed to listening to their voices.
